Australian Consumer Law:

The Australian Consumer Law, being Schedule 2 to the Australian Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) provides that all products purchased from us are subject to consumer guarantees which requires that goods sold to consumers must, amongst other things:

  • Be fit for purpose;

  • Be acceptable in appearance and finish;

  • Be free from defects;

  • Be safe;

  • Be durable; and

  • Correspond with the supplier’s description of the product

These guarantees cannot be excluded by contract and in the event that the product fails to meet the abovementioned standards then you are entitled to:

  • Be in good working order and not show signs of previous installation or use.

  • The remedy which you are entitled to will depend on whether the failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is a major failure.

What constitutes a major failure is defined in the Australian Consumer Law.

This Warranty does not operate to modify or exclude your rights as set out in the Australian Consumer Law nor any other rights you may have under any other written or common law.

This Warranty provides additional protection in relation to the QVEE Product you have purchased from us and provides information on how to make a warranty claim in relation to a Qvee Product you have purchased from us.

QVEE Products

The only products covered by this warranty are QVEE products purchased by you from Dasco Supply Group.

  • For the purposes of this Warranty a Product is a product which is:

    • Be fit for purpose;

    • Be acceptable in appearance and finish;

    • Be free from defects;

  • When you purchase a product from our online catalogue, we warrant the Product is:

    • Fit for purpose;

    • Free from defects, latent or otherwise.

    • Be free from defects;

  • The period during which this Warranty is in effect is two years from the date of purchase.

  • If the Product is:

    • Not fit for purpose, or

    • Defective, or

    • Otherwise not in compliance with a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, you may submit a claim to us under the terms of this Warranty.

  • In order to make a claim under this Warranty, please contact our Customer Service Team by emailing to sales@dascosupplygroup.com.au. You will be required to provide details of your purchase order when you make your claim.

  • If we find your claim in respect of a Product is valid and enforceable, then we will at our option either:

    • Arrange for the Product to be repaired;

    • Replace the Product with the same or similar Product; or

    • Refund to you all or part of the purchase price of the Product; at our own cost.

  • Subject to any rights that you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, if we determine that your claim in respect of a Product is unenforceable under the terms of this Warranty then we may charge you for any labour, parts or transport costs incurred by us in assessing your claim.

  • The rights under this Warranty are not transferrable. You are required to provide proof of purchase when you submit your warranty claim.

  • The warranty does not apply where:

    • Loss or damage is a result of normal wear and tear;

    • The Product has been damaged as a result of incorrect operation or your not following the instructions as provided in any manual or instruction sheet provided with the Product;

    • The Product has been used with incorrect voltage or non-authorized electrical connections;

    • Exposure of the Product to extreme heat, moisture or damp conditions;

    • The Product has been modified or with defective or incompatible parts;

    • Repair, modification, or other work has been carried out on the Product by other than by our team or the manufacturer; and,

    • The Product does not bear the original manufacture’s serial number in its original form.

  • Any accessories that were sold with the Product at the time of the purchase of the Product such as power cords, chargers, additional parts must be returned to us along with the Product.

  • You are required to use your best endeavor need to deliver your Product and any additional parts or accessories in either its original packaging or in equally protective packaging to the address specified by our Customer Service Team.

The warranty of non Qvee product will be covered by the warranty and protocols of the supplier to Dasco Supply Group. Each of Dasco Supply Groups suppliers may have different periods of warranty and different protocols to each other. This can be identified at the time of the claim via Dasco Supply Groups customer service personnel. Email sales@dascosupplygroup.com.au
